Defender’s Day in Havre de Grace: Past, Present & Future!
Join us as we celebrate the life of Havre de Grace’s hero and defender John O’ Neill, who courageously defended the city from British invasion during the War of 1812. Since this year's event falls on "May the Fourth," a Star Wars element has been added to double the fun! Independence Day Concert at Concord Point Park
Celebrate Independence with us with a fabulous free concert by the Maryland Military Band at Concord Point Park. Concert starts at 7:30 p.m. Food and drink available for purchase. Refuel for School Youth Festival
The Havre de Grace Youth Commission strives to provide positive activities for our young citizens. This family friendly event includes live musical performances by young musicians, sporting competitions, community organizations providing resources to students & families, food trucks, and a myriad of activities geared toward celebrating our youth and the start of a new school year! The attendees also receive a bag of free school supplies while they last.

Wave of Light
Every year in October, we honor and remember those affected by miscarriage or stillbirth, SIDS, and pregnancy and infant loss, including recognizing Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day on October 15th, Wave of Light.
